Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) prime-loc documentation

Hi guys,



A few months ago I bought a used prime loc for my 96 CTD. When I installed it I had one major leak, which was cause I put the wrong "square" ring in the filter adapter. Got that straightened out, but have a small "drain down" type of leak. Whenever I start after several hours, I have to crank quite a while to get it to fire. Now I just automatically get the short broom handle out from under the seat and beat on the primer pump for a few strokes, then I'm all set for the rest of the day. What I need is; does anybody have their copy of the installation instructions that came with your Prime-Loc, and would be kind enough to e-mail me a copy? Thanks ahead of time!

I think I have mine

I'll check tonight. Did you check the 1/8" NPT on the side of the filter head that can be used to sense before and after filter fuel pressure? Other than that I'd suspect a leaking hose fitting. Ken Irwin
