I was listening to a guy that had installed a Prime-Loc on his 96. He took his rig in to have some service work done and this service center gave some negitive feed back about the Prime-Loc, something about the supply hose too small and not letting enough fuel to the pump. I don't know if this is right, I just caught the tail end of the conversation. Does anyone have any other info. on this?

This was extensively discussed a couple of months ago, but most of the info was on 24v engines. Here's a link to some of the threads:

Simon:

I have had the "Prime-Loc" on my truck
now for over 100,000 miles with absolutely
no problems whatsoever! I am also "flowing
alot of fuel" as you can see by my signature.
I tow heavy trailers on a regular basis and
do it in the mountains through the Mid-
Atlantic.

Steve has given you some of the related
TDR website articles on the "Prime-Loc".
I realize like alot of the other accessories
for our trucks these units are a "personal
preference" thing, however, I do not think
the unit will cause you any problems.
