I got a set of "Cummins turbo Diesel" decals from Geno's and thought I'd apply them to the top of the windshield until I realized that the top of the windshield was curved and the strip of decals wasn't. What procedure do I use to assure a good looking job short of applying the letters one at a time?

Thanks,

Bill,

if you know how to do it you can pull it tight and get it to curve while you are installing it or,

the graphic has a pre-mask on it, run a tape line across the graphic on top of the windshield , cut the pre-mask in between each letter be careful you do not cut on the glass, this will make it easer to get the curve you need, after you have it lined up, apply each letter, the tape will hold everything in place while you install the letters,

hope this helps

Scott

I got that sticker too. And ran into the same problem. I figured where the middle of the sticker was and cut it in half. Starting in the middle I stuck the first letter. Then peel back the masking tape to the next letter. This will let you get the curve.

I don't have THIS decal but in the past I have cut a small vee notch pointing UPWARD in between the words of a strip, this would allow you to 'set' the decal in thirds (still attached at the top) across the windshield
