Guys,

I currently aim running an s465 2nd gen swap on my 12. It also has a 4" DP to 5" resonator exhaust setup. Would running a straight 4" get rid of my UNGODLY drone when driving and get rid of me needing to run a resonator? I want to be able to just straight pipe the truck and not have to worry about droning when towing and Daily driving.

Any advice would be great.

I'm my experience a resonator has been the only way to deal with resonance on a new model truck that has been deleted . I know a guy that has 2 resonators mounted back to back as far forward as possible . No muffler . Super quiet , no resonance .

I was wondering on doing that. I have 1 right now that is as far forward as clearance and pipe angle will allow and the droning is almost gone. I have thought on running a 30" resonator after the 17" that is already there. Guess i could make the truck a sleeper lol.

Yeah , one 30" resonator and a muffler still had a slight drone right at cruising speed . Took out muffler , had second 30" resonator installed 12" behind first one .
