I just received a new thuren track bar for my 99 Ram2500. The 2 bolts holding the old track bar in were easy enough to loosen but the bolt holding the track bar to the frame will not clear the steering stabilizer bar to remove it and the other end will not come out from the axle bracket even though it appears to be loose. Any help would be appreciated.

I would lift the truck from the frame letting the axle droop. That worked to get it out of my 3rd gen when installing the Lorenz lift.

Good luck!

Kyle

The frame end is taper fit, you will need a pickle-fork and a BFH. My 01 has the stabilizer mounted below the axle bolt, you may have to remove one end of the stabilizer to get that one out.

Just a hint: Adjust the bar length before tightening the frame end completely.
