Problem limp mode

anyone have any idea why 2009 went into limp mode for no reason.
Here is what went on went to start truck turn on the key decided not to start it finish loading turn on key wait for heat light to go out start truck push e brake on go un hook trailer form another truck back mine over hook up take off for home went into limp mode 20 mph for about 1.5 miles then it goes out of limp mode runs fine rest of way home.
no coeds or check engine lite came on.
Any ideas tdr members thanks

I was coming home from Colorado one time and mine went into limp mode, ran like it was running 3 cyl. I got it off the road and it was throwing a code (cant remember the number), but it turned out to be the map sensor. It cleared up and ran fine ,but I replaced it anyway.

the kicker here is no codes not sure what to think. will look at the map sensor thanks.
