For some odd reason, the past couple weeks my heated seat have not been wanting to turn on all the time. I pulled the switch out to make sure the connections were good and then pulled the relay and tried a different one with no success, but when I push in real hard on the relay they will come on somewhat. Has anyone had any problems w/ their heated seats and how should I go about solving the problem. I dont like my butt to get froze off like I have been. Thanks

If you push the button and the light flashes than odds are a element burned out. Not sure if element is a good word but you know what I mean. I had the whole bottom half of the drivers seat replaced under warrantee. :)

there are a couple fuses and relays involved...

if the light stays lit and you've got no heat, it could still be the element. The one in the wife's Town & Country went open, the dealer said they'd had luck fixing them, but to replace it, it would be cheaper to buy a new van.

:--)

It has to have somthing to do with the relay, b/c like I said they work fine and will come on if I position the relay just right and move it around a bit. I've tried many different relays so that tells me that its in the female end where the relay slides in, but how should I go about fixing that?

might try a small screwdriver or dental pick...

to mash the back end of the spade connector closed. Or maybe something like a conductive grease in the connector?
