I'm almost positive it's on my end though. Thought you might be able to help me out.

When the chat page loads up, the only thing I get is the square box with the picture icon in top left corner. Almost like it's trying to load a picture instead of the chat program. This is all I get.

I know the image is big, you really can't see it at a smaller resolution.

You could try downloading netscape 4. 79 and see if the problem still exists. It's nice having more than one browser to test things out. How old is your version of internet explorer? You might try upgrading it also.

My IE 6. 0 started doing the same thing when I tried downloading pdf, same blank page with the icon. Ended up being a somehow missing file in IE. I just redown loaded IE now it's working fine again.

Forgot to mention that I've downloaded gthe latest IE 6. 0. I'm wondering is my firewall program is causing it. ALthough I did turn the firewall off and try it without success.

As I write this, I also cannot get into chat.

I know my system works with it, because I've been there once before, and I haven't made any changes.

Not that this helps any, git, but I wanted you to know there's a problem right now that looks as if it's at the server end, so even if you got your end fixed, you wouldn't know it.

Mine goes as far as opening the chat window, and then nothing happens.

Same thing here

I just tried, and I have the same problem Jim... Oh well, guess I'll just rest up for the trip to Muncie tomorrow:D :D

The chat software was locked up (first time since I've taken over a month ago). I shut it down and restarted it and it's now working, I don't think it will help Gitch's problem though. I'll have to look into that next week after Muncie.

I know it's got me stumped. I've reloaded IE6. 0, I even set all the security settings to the lowest as a test. THinking it might be a securtiy problem. Loaded a different Java software. Nada.

Oh well, I'll just have to suffer until Monday. :)

Got it fixed.

Somehow, Java was no longer on my computer. Whne I downloaded the browser that hammersly recommended, it poped up a download site.

DOwnloaded Java, installed it and all is well.

THe only thing I've dome to my machine lately is install McAfee Antivirus and firewall. Wonder if that program caused the program to disappear.
