Problem with computer (short) help?

Why cant I search from my address bar? I always could before a week or so before christmas. I know its just a setting not enabled or something goofy like that, but I cant find it.



When I type in a word or phrase, I keep getting this...

http:///? weather

and in the header at the top of the page, it says invalid syntax error.





Please help...

I don't use IE anymore...



Go to www.firefox.com and download the browser. Created by a college student, I have been using it for a good while now and I love it. Absolutely NO pop-ups and at the top of the window, next to the address bar is a search bar that has google, Yahoo, amazon, Dictionary.com, and Ebay searches. very convenient. When you download and install, it has a option you can import your bookmarks from your other browser...

I use Firefox also. Great browser. If you are using IE:



Click TOOLS, then Internet Options.



Click on the Advanced tab in the upper right corner of the window.



Scroll down about 3/4 of the way and it's there.

You most likely have spyware. Download spybot or Microsoft's Anti Spyware.
