Well decided to take an extended weekend ski trip over the weekend in Breckenridge (9600ft). I couldn't wait to try out the new truck up in the mountains. On the way up everything went great, power was awesome, truck handled well everything went great!

Let the truck sit the whole weekend cause my buddy had his Tahoe with dvd players and nothing in the back seat that we would need to move. So on Sunday packed everything up and got ready to leave. Truck seemed to take alittle longer to start and I noticed right away the egts were around 350 with the truck just idling in park. Hummm I thought??? So we go to leave and truck has no power at all... just pours smoke out the tailpipe. It was pouring smoke in gear in park no matter what. So I let it idle for a few min and tried it again... same thing??? Well I knew it was most likely the EZ so I wasn't really worried. Sure enough took the EZ off and truck ran fine.

We stopped in Denver at ATS so my buddy could pick up his Duramax that just got one of there Allison upgrades with the tripple lock, commander and everything. Put the box back on and everything was fine!! Anyone ever have this happen to them at altitude with there EZ on? The guy at ATS said I should have let it idle a bit longer and it probably would have been fine. I was running level 6 and I didn't take the time to try any other levels. So far this is the first big issue I have had with the EZ.
