I've had a Manik one-piece powder-coated grille guard on my truck for about 2 years. Recently I noticed a small crack where the lower headlight guard tube was welded to the left upright, and this morning I went to a buddy's house to have him weld the crack up. We found the tubes were full of rusty water! Apparently the water got in around the screws that attach the headlight guards to the tubes @ the outer ends of the unit. I drilled drain holes in the underside of each tube and blew the water out with compressed air, then sealed the screw holes with pipe thread sealant. If you have a grille guard of this type, you might want to check it and seal the screw holes as I did- I wish they had done so at the factory! BTW- My friend also cut the cowl hole for my Psychotty Air with his plasma cutter- much less messy than using a hole saw!
