Just got my Issue 47, and thumbing through it tonight I notice many very poor photos starting in the 12-valve section. Some are extremely pixellated, others are blotchy with low resolution & very limited grayscale. Some are together and others scattered throughout the magazine.

Just curious if anyone else's came out that way. Rest of the magazine rocks Oo.

A note I received from Robert the other day to all of the writers:

Issue 47 is finally beginning to arrive in members' mailboxes. As yours

arrives, please overlook the poor pictures on pages 34, 36 and 37 and the

poor graphics on page 57. The printer and I will be having a discussion

about the problem. Otherwise, it is a good issue.

I haven't gotten my copy yet so I haven't seen them.

Thanks Steve. The only pictures I wish were clear are on pages 34-37 which are of a vacuum pump rebuild that I may need to do someday due to my high miles. Instead of resending magazine copies how about posting the pics here?

mine are the same way.

But I must say hats of to the TDR, the TDR magazine is quite impressive :)

job well done

Mine's bad too. I sent a PM to Robert "complaining" and got a very quick and thoughtful response from Robin.

IMO,the quality of some photo's in past issues leaves a lot to be desired, but I realize many times it's due to what they have to work with in the first place. I'd rather they just leave those out.
