Driving a 2000 Ram 2500 4x4 w/44,000 miles

Experiencing issues when accelerating at high speeds. The truck feels like it is losing power similar to the that of a vehicle that is out of fuel. Major hesitations while accelerating at high speeds. The truck idles just fine.

Now, today I started the truck and everything is fine. No problems with acceleration etc...

I recently replaced the fuel filter along with the engine oil. Is there a second fuel filter that I may have missed? How about a water / fuel separator?

Well, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What is your fuel pressure from the lift pump to the injection pump doing during all of this:confused: You might want to get your lift pump checked to see if it is going which would cause starvation at the injection pump;) Good luck.
