Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Problems checking timing.

Ran into a problem while trying to check my timing today.



When we tried to check the plunger lift it came up to 11. ?mm We ran it around again and got the same reading



We found TDC using the timing pin so I don't know exactly where we went wrong, but maybe someone could suggest something?



I'm going to try again in a couple of days and see what I come up with.

Ummm, what was that about counting the times the gauge needle goes around? I forget...

Could you post some pictures of the 255-85/16 MTs you have. Up close if possible. How do those tires drive? Is there a lot of side wall flex on turns. Also how loud are they?
