I moved snow this morning, pulled out of my driveway and was headed to the shop. I shifted into third, heard a noise and seemed like my shifter popped out of gear. I thought I did not get it in gear all the way and it popped out. I tried to shift into a gear and would not go. I shut the truck off, put it in gear and started the truck. I could hear a grinding noise and truck would not move. I called the neighbor and he pulled me two miles to the shop. When I have the clutch pedal pushed down, the pedal has a little shaky feel to it. Did the splines tear out of the clutch disc, my t/o bearing go thru the fingers or something else? I believe this is the origional clutch and the truck has 170,xxx miles on it. Luckily, I have a Southbend sprung hub dual disc clutch kit and input shaft sitting in the corner of the shop.
