Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Some time back time I started a thread about the week from he!! I had do to many run ins with stupid people. Well this week is actually the week from he!! (Sorry about the lie in the last thread). Since this is only Monday I may have to start drinking again to finish this week. so here are my examples of failures in natural selection…
My boss does not like my plan to rollout Active Directory (windows 2000 server); he hired some consultants to come in on my day off to evalute my plan, they agreed with a good portion of my plan. He told me this today as he was describing the classes he is taking at the local high school. He stated he is going to plan and install AD on his own. He learned how to use a mouse 2 years ago and realized last week that windows XP and windows 2000 are not the same thing. I was once again written up for questioning his judgment. In his defense he recently got an 86 on an online IQ test.
Stopped at the bank for some cash. Parked the truck (left it running)and come back out to find 2 punks standing at the front of their car (parked next to me) complaining about my noise pollution. Their car is shaking from the out of tune bass tubes. I asked if they were jealous of the mighty Cummins tone. They respond ‘what you gonna make of it of it old man’ at 33y 6’0” 220 (some beer some muscle) I remove my jacket they jump in car.
At the gas (fyi…best place to find stupid people) some guy pulls up in a Audi TT with personalized plates stating the car is an Audi TT (thank you for the redundant info), parks at an angle to the pumps so no one else can get near him, set the club on the wheel gets out and sets alarm. At this time I notice the Porsche racers of America club sticker on the windshield. I could not resist playing at this point, so I simple said nice car. Jo Racer states the car stock will beat anything on the road. He just added a chip, exhaust and intake. “I should have no problem in GT2 class races. ” I like to see people take pride in their toys, but lets have realistic expectations here. Anyone remember that Dennis Leary song “I was born an a$$hol3”? My response “I did not realize the new beetles were so popular in the aftermarket.
