prodigy

I need some help Guy's. I tried to hook a Prodigy brake control on a 2001

Dodge and the switch got hot and started to smoke.



Any thoughts?

Do you have installation instructions and did you follow them exactly? If so, return it and get another one because something must be wrong with the first one.

That one doesnt wire color to color if that helps any. Controller is redered junk. I wouldnt try to repair that one just in case of failure. Like said above, get ahold of the folks @ prodigy, Im sure they'll hook ya up. ---Proflow
