Where’s “Wanted”?

Embed?

Hey gang, been off the site for a while but back on sporadically. I was trying to figure out why first my signature was appearing under my posts so I went in to edit my signature and every which way I tried I kept getting a browser window popping up telling me ...*Your signature is 346 characters(s) to long* and *Your signature is 1 line(s) too long.
No matter how many times I reduce the characters I get the same message?
I was able to reduce it to just one line and it seems like it is now showing up, but I see other users with way more characters than I know have?

Members (TDR magazine subscribers) have a limit of 300 characters, and 5 lines.
Non-members have a limit of 120 characters and 1 line.

Yup thats what I thought. I let my subscription run out after years of being a paid member, Its sad that I didn't have the time to read the great publications they were sending me.

Might have to subscribe again, only to try and keep this site afloat, even though I buy most of my parts from Geno's, doesn't that count? :) :)
I'm just not feeling the love anymore on here lol. I try doing searches and 99 percent of the time Zero results come up. Are you throttling down anything else by me not receiving your quarterly mags?

Searches are not throttled down. Be sure if you're in a forum section you uncheck the "Search this forum only" box if you want to search all the sections. Or click the "More..." button to go to the advanced search.

Ok , Sure I can try that as well. I'm trying to keep searches as short as possible such as ," lift kit recommendation" or would I just type in "Lift Kits" and then just start sifting thru all the posts?

The problem is you are doing "OR" searches. Lift kits searches for posts that have lift OR kits. So you're getting hits for ANY post with "kits" in it, for example, not just posts with "lift kits".

If you want to require all words in a search, put + before each required word.
+lift +kits

Or if you want to search for the two words in the exact order put quotes around them "lift kits". This would match posts with "lift kits" but not "kits lift".
