I've done on my 2014. The same steps on all whether you have push to start or the "fob key". You'll need the security bypass cable with AlfaOBD to get it done. I now have 4 key fobs for the truck. You'll need to have the existing fobs inside of the truck when adding new fobs. Have also done one for a Chrysler 300. Walk through the steps without connecting to your truck first. Pretty straight forward. The fobs that I got were from Ebay. Good luck and ask more questions if needed. You can PM and arrange a call if you want. Already talked with some members to help walk them through AlfaOBD.
I tried to Program my Fob tonight and found my 2020 2500 needs a 5 digit pin and Alfa OBD says it's not supported when tried to look it up. It says it a floating pin??
The newer trucks use a rolling PIN, similar to a garage door opener. You need to get the PIN from the dealer, then you have a couple hours to access the RFH before you need another PIN.
I'm not sure you can read the rolling PIN, but not having a truck that uses one I can't verify. There used to be a program called PIN Pull that was a pay app that could retrieve a PIN from the older vehicles.
I've pulled pins on my 2014 3500, a 2016 300 and a 2015 Jeep. Done FOB's on the first 2 and reset the RF hub on the Jeep. It can be done, and I'm sure it's just a bump in the road with the software.
