Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
For any of you folks who are having trouble programming the Homelink
in the truck,this sequence was given to me by Homelink and it worked.
The instructions with the truck manual are not totally accurate at this time.
This is for rolling code garage door openers.
1-Must have a handheld wireless transmitter programmed to the opener
2-Truck must be running outside of garage
3-First program truck with wireless handheld transmitter by holding the Homelink button
down while pushing & releasing the wireless transmitter button every
Two Seconds till the EVIC on the dash reads trained. The Homelink button when pushed
should now show transmitting on the EVIC but the door may not work.
4-This is the step not in the manual
Now press the learn button on the garage door opener unit to put
into learn mode
Now hold the Homelink Button in the truck for 5 seconds,release and
hold again for 5 seconds
The door opener should now work
If not erase truck buttons and start over
