programming the key FOB

I just bought this SRW truck and was hoping that I could program the key FOB by jumping pin 1-4 on the OBDIII and doing the stand up/sit down routine as opposed to paying the dealer $50. Does it work?

Do you have one key that works currently or two?

It came with 1 key only until questioned, then the salesman dug up a remote from a file cabinet drawer that came from another vehicle.
