Do the plug in type moduals make the bottom end power the the programers seem to make?

Superchips Flashpac dyno sheet looks as though it makes a bunch of power down low. Everyone says that the Smarty makes a ton of power down low in the RPM range.

Is this done by limiting the Torque Management of the stock computer by both companys?

Is there a gizmo to do that alone?

If you delete TQM, say good bye to stock transmission. I learned from experience! It only takes 2-3 hard runs to toast it.

The boxes only add to the stock programming... ... . more timming, fueling and or pressure where the downloaders can make changes to everything including when it happens.

I used the flashpaq (Superchips) on my '06. Throttle response is much more sensitive than before at the highest setting. When the turbo spools up, hang on! I'm not exaggerating here. It's almost violent and can be a handfull! I'm afraid I'm going to break something in all honesty. I've already slipped the clutch a couple of times. I backed it down to the performance-tow setting. Much more tame now. It also smoked like a big dog at the highest setting too. It did allow me to compensate for the 35" tires though!
