2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Projector headlight installation screwup

I installed a set of projector headlamps in my 98' 24v last night and plugged the headlights in forgetting that I had Britebox. The headlights remained on after turning off the headlamp switch. Took the Britebox out, now they turn on and off correctly, but now the high beam indicator stays on when headlights are turned on -either high or low beam. I am only getting 7 volts to the highbeam side of the lights. Wondering if I messed up the multi-function switch or if anybody has an input. Thanks. Chuck
