Was at the race track all weekend. . 24Hr endurance race (we won!)... was admiring a Y2K Sport dually with ETH and 6spd... . asked the owner about his truck and his mileage--he showed me his trailer, said he runs at about 75mph and gets 10mpg! And thats with the 3:54 rear! I pull DOUBLE the trailer and set my cruise at 70, and get 16-17mpg consistently. End of Game.

Set your cruise to run with the big dogs (18 wheelers) at between 60 and 65 and you'll probably get close to 20. It's amazing, depending on how I drive I get anywhere between 10 and 20mpg pulling my 5k trailer. Hotrodding sure is easy, fun and hard not to do, but it just plain sucks the fuel. How you use the power definitely makes the biggest difference in economy.

12 Valves and 6 cyls is all you need, anything more is excess baggage. #ad

Affecting fuel milage is where a boost gauge is really nice. Boost is an inverse correlation with fuel usage so if you keep your boost down your milage will be much better. Now if I could only follow my own advice #ad
