While towing with the 2006, I noticed that when stopped with the rear slider open, I'd get a strong Propane or CNG smell in the cab. I thought I might have a leak in the trailer propane system, but I didn't. Is this normal from the 2006's? The thing doesn't even smell like a diesel any more! Anyone else notice this? I couldn't find anything in a search.

:( Yeah it took me about a year to get used to the cat stank.

I have been known to take a wiff from the older sweet smelling trucks. :D

Dragged this one up because I found what the smell is. Talked to John Holmes at Carson Dodge. Apparently, there is a "sponge" or something that catches the drips from the breather tube and it sits up under the dash at the rear of the engine. What I was smell was evaporating blow by oil. I think that's what he said. Truck still doesn't smell like a diesel on the other end though.
