BOMB fund emptied for a long time...

I have a Wisconsin Teledyne Y-80 engine that drives a 10KW Winco generator. The unit was originally set up to run on Natural gas and has sat idle for over 6 years, probably closer to 12 years.

I rescued it from the backyard of a fellow at work when he bought the property it was on. I have repaired the generator portion of the unit and am now concentrating on getting it running. It has an Impco 110 (carb?) and a Maxitrol IMP-52 regulator (which I am told is an Impco product. I am pestering a couple of Impco reps for rebuild kits and manuals but am still waiting for good responses.

Anyone on here have any knowledge to offer.

I want to run the units on Propane.

I have figured out that I need a primary regulator ahead of the IMP-52. but that is as far as I have gotten. What adjustments do I need to run on propane. I am thinking I just need to lean it out but was hoping for some advice.

Thanks
