I have been considering installing a propane injection system on my 99LB quadcab 5 speed work truck. it has a service body and weighs about 8500# as driven. I am interested in increased mileage. Has anyont out there had one of these systems(ATS or Bullydog) and what were your results? how much mileage increase, what % propane did you get best results with? Thanks for your time to reply

When used in moderation, propane can improve power. Just don't get greedy with it. Too much can pop a head gasket, and cause excessive detonation. IMO limit it to about 35-40 HP shot. You should see a rise in Diesel fuel economy, but Propane usage and cost could possibly offset the savings in Diesel Fuel.

If you really want to increase milage, slap on an Edge EZ and install a set of 275 HP RV injectors... . but to achieve a rise in milage your driving habits can not change. If you constantly use the extra power, you will mostlikely se a drop in milage.

I would not put propane on. One of my customers purchased a bully dog system. The regulater failed and exploded the compressor housing of the side of the charger. Besides all of that if there is a quest for power with alternitive assist i would recomend a water/meth system. Good clean power and you can run a variety of mixtures.
