Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) propane pros?

I have been reading up on propane injection for a little bit, I understand that there is no real mileage increase when figuring in the cost of the propane, but it is cheaper than fuel and would add some power. so it looks like something I may want to do.

I am wondering however its effect on egts. or any negative effects that it may have with regular use.

Egt's will be higher, and headgasket integrity is compromised. There are much better ways to add power and see better fuel economy as well. Although there is nothing that is going to make a huge mileage increase... ... It will depend on miles driven vs. cost to establish if it is worth while.
