Just had a 30# propane bottle filled at Young's here in Port Neches. Charged $19. 00. Had one filled in an RV park in Leadville Colorado a couple years ago and they go me for $17. 50 and I thought that was out of sight. Must be the cold weather? bg

Well the only thing I can say is-------------------If your down on the farm and you wanna get warm - propane ( next verse ) If your freezing your a$$ cause your out of gas - propane ( next verse ) It's so high , it's so high , it's so high - propane. And believe it our not there is more to this song.

I know what you're talking about BG, we used to have a gas fp in the house that was just for looks, so we never used it. Then I got a wild hair and ripped it out, made the opening a bunch bigger, resurfaced the walls with concrete board and tile and set in a free standing wood stove. New chimney and I was set! I went from $1000 to $1200 per year in LPG to around $130 per year. My project paid for itself and then some in two winters. I have been real satisfied with my Blaze King stove.

Champane Flight,

Is that 51 cents to 59 cents a gallon? If it is, then buy all you can. I payed a buck 97 for my last fill up on my house bottle and that was down from last springs 2 dollars and 17. 9 cents per gallon. I too use wood for the winter and keep the propane for backup.

Direct

That price is off the rack direct from the pipeline. I don't think you could even come close to that price from any wholesaler. Too bad I can't even buy it that way.

BBQ

tpcdrafting... . Going to do 4 racks of ribs on the outdoor smoker, probably tomorrow.

Bob... . I just bought a George Foreman grill and it is slicker than snot. I think my gas grill might be history.

It is $1. 99 here in Nevada. I was in Arizona last week and it was $. 99. Go figure.
