Propane setup

Has anyone installed the propane (bully dog) kit on their truck and is it worth the money or can it cause damage?.

It's my opinion that entering fuel into the system outside of the injectors is dangerous to your motor and can cause damage. Depending on your goal, you might want to instead consider other fuel/air options or shooting dry nitrous.

Forget propane on 3rd gens. Our motors dont like propane. Too high of compression. .

Call Dennis at TSPerformance.com. The have nice setups for both Nitrous and Propane. Plus, he's done it, and can speak to the wisdom of doing it again.

With propane comes extremely high combustion pressures. Combine that with high boost and you're looking for head gasket trouble. I would consult somebody like Dennis on this one, he has dealt with a lot of it.
