Has anyone gone with either a AST or ADPROFORMANCE propane system on a 1st gen truck. Any pros or cons onthese particular products inregards to proformance, quality or ease of installation. Both products look good on the web but first hand experience is always best.

Thanks Jim Curry

I have looked at info on the Powershot 2000
and it indeed looks like a very well thought out system. However I am wondering with all that I have read weather am liquid system would be safer and more reliable especially the reliability issue in colder weather or with vaulve freeze-up

Hey, we're in FLA man, no need to worry. #ad

about the cold!! They say the regulating is done at the tank with this one and the regulator used maintains a constant pressure regardless of outside temps, unless you get down to like 40-below and then the truck isn't gonna run anyway. It really is different than what has been around and I agree it appears to have been well thought out to overcome concerns like you mentioned. It might be fun on useless 19 to get through traffic. (If it's called tourist season, why can't we shoot em') #ad

Interesting though about the tourists. I'll have to keep that in mind.
Back to business. Fla is usually warm I'll grant you that. But my bussiness travels can take me as far north as the Carolinas and virginia and along the gulf coast from home , through the Panhandle over as far as Corpis Christi , Texas at times. Given certain times of the year those places can get cold.
