Here's a few questions for those of you who have the propane systems. I've read too many good things about them not to want one. First question is what size of a propane tank do you have, where did you put it, and how often do you have to refuel it. I know that you're suppose to get better fuel mileage with this sytem, but will it save me money even with the added cost of propane? Also how easy is it to install.
Thanks in advance!

Nowell-- nice work #ad
is that you in the blue shirt in the bottom picture? with the nice anodized aluminum/braided lines under the hood why no chrome exhaust outlet?? (other than that, your exhaust looks just like mine) ---my therapist suggests the larger turbo for my 98. 4, once i get my injectors and plate done- (goal is 325/700),---I guess he'll cut the small-diameter neck and replace it with BD's 4" brake. I'll have to consult with him pretty soon, as I'm gonna be out of country for 3 wks in June, and want him to do the real BOMBing while I'm gone--what was this thread originally about? oh yeah-propane--maybe "drugs" later, but, since I'm a pharmacist, wouldn't that be "conduct unbecoming"?--- rich

Nowell, I was scared to see your red rocket. Then I realized you meant your truck. #ad

Hi guys, I've been waiting to respond to this, I think the bullydog kit is great, firstoff its about 300 cheaper than ATS, and offers the ability of being fully adjustable, it take about thirty second to turn the regulator slotted screw up or down for the desired power, second yes your mileage goes up, maybe not a whole lot but up, diesel mileage goes up around 2 to 4 mpg, wile using the lpg continuous I use 5 gallons in 250 miles,ie 1 gollon for every 50, considering my street tune is around 30 hp on the dyno not to bad, plus I could have turned it down to use less, I've made 55 hp on the dyno and deffinately not at the max, but I'd say not much more than 75hp, at 55 I had detination until about 2200 rpm's. As far as instals, it only takes about 1 hour, but I would not recomend running without an EGT guage, it does build more heat in the upper rpm's when turned up, also I run a regular old 5 gallon barbeque tank in the bed but there a many available, even a 9 gallon that goes in the spare tire location, just my experiance, Adam

Remember your engine is lubricated with diesel fuel, when you use propane you cut your lubrication down, I have done several of these kits they all seem to work fine but I would recommend against it, long term does not look good. Bully dog kits are straight vapor and Edge & ATS are liquid with convertors to change it back to vapor.
