I'm looking at a set of 16x8 American Racing wheels with 4. 5" of backspacing for my 1997 Ram 2500 4x4. I'm curious as to how much these wheels will stick out of the fenders with 265/75/16s. Does anyone know what the backspacing is on the 1997 chrome wheels?

Thanks

Ryan

97's have 4 9/16 backspacing from the factory and are only 6 inches wide. I put 16x8 Centerlines with 265/75/16's on my 97 with 4 3/4 backspacing. They fit in the rear wheel wells great. On the front they are just inside the wheel well on the top but set out the further down the front and rear of the wheel well you go. But so did the stock wheels and tires. Hope this helps?
