proper length on slip yoke on 4x4

What is the standard amount of spline going into the slip yoke on the front driveshaft? I am at about 3" now. That is with a 4" lift and then having custom arms built to push axle another 5/8" forward.

There is not a cut and dry answer-you need to articulate the suspension,full compression to full droop ensuring you have enough spline engagement when it is at the longest and not going to bottom at it's shortest
