Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Proper sealant

After changing the oil in the rear diff and replacing with Amsoil what would be the proper sealant? I was told that the Amsoil eats away at atv/rtv sealant and states such on the bottle.

I used high temp rtv when I changed to Amsoil - 50,000 miles and no leaks.
