Found it interesting to follow thread on roof maintenance but what is the best way to strip off current sealant around vents, domes, AC unit, ladder supports w/o cutting into roof?
Can I reseal over cracks w/o removing old sealant?

Yes,it would be a job to remove all the old sealant and you stand the chance of damaging the roofing material. Make sure the sealant you use is ok for your roofing material, (edpm or tpo) Some of the sealants will react with the material and destroy it. bg

Was told that for domes or skylights use butyl rubber not Dicor. Was up on roof and it appears all one product was used?

Butyl tape should be between the mounting flange of the skylight and the roof. Then it's screwed diwn. Then the Dicor is applied over the flange and screws and out onto the roof membrane.

Finished cleaning and adding another layer of Dicor to areas that needed attention on the Lance. Rained heavily last nite and no leaks. Looks great up top.
Tomorrow start doing the same the TT.:)
