This question is for only those that have used the blue def platinum in their Ram please. Do you like it or dislike it recommend it or not, or is it a big waste of money?

Pro: It's DEF
Con: It's more expensive than "regular" DEF

DEF = DEF since the criteria for it is pretty stringent you shouldn't see a variation across brands, it's kinda like fuel that way.

Like others have said, DEF is DEF. If you don't mind spending extra and not being able to dress up your truck, Then spend the extra! I've been using Super Tech DEF from Walmart with no issues what so ever. Usually half the price of the others so it leaves more $ for the extras I want to put into my truck!

Same here as Topzide. Been using the walmart supertech almost exclusively for over 150k miles. A couple months ago at least here it dropped from $7.88 for 2.5 gallons to $6.88. The peak stuff sells for over $12.00 for 2.5 gallons. Where I live and travel getting it at the pump is a waste of time as it isn't anywhere close by and I am not going to spend $5 in fuel to save $2 or $3 on def.

While this new super duper def might be great I question how it can meet the iso standard since it is very specific and it requires "technically pure" urea as part of the standard. I have no idea what is considered "technically pure" so I guess there is the possibility that there is room for an additive . Also I read an article a while back about def that stated it is all made with synthetic urea. Urea is a byproduct of urine never heard of a urine collection company. In the thread mentioned in an earlier post it has the safety data sheet for this new def in it. It does not show any other ingredients in it. Many of the sds's I have seen even if there is proprietary stuff in it it is listed as such "proprietary" or "trade secret exempt" but pretty sure it still must list the percentage of that ingredient or group of ingredients and I see nothing like that on that sds sheet. Which at least for me is enough to think it is nothing more than regular def.

Supertech def here for the last 13k no issues other than more $ in my wallet. I know you asked for opinions of people that have actually used it, probably won’t get many replies otherwise as the membership is wise enough to see through the marketing bs... consider this a free thread bump lol
