protection from the sun and pine needles

Do any of you cover the cab and maybe the hood of your truck when it is sitting outside? I completely cover my car to keep it cooler and to keep pine needles from collecting in cracks and rotting the exterior metal. I don't think I have ever seen anyone cover their trucks. If you do cover it what works OK for you? Thanks for the advice. Dale

Dale. . nope. Never have covered my Ram, and it sits outside 24/7. I drive it every day and wash it often, though. Someday I will have a big shop.
