got a bayonet for the Mauser!

I hate to do this to Scott and others with UGLY Dogs, But meet SMOKE, a 5 year old Australian Stock Dog. He is my Fuzzy Buddy and my Furry Friend. :D :D :D Any Competition?

I am proud to say that Don is a friend of mine. He and I shoot Black Powder Silhouette together. This dog of his, is without a doubt the funnest damn thing you ever saw. This is a one man dog, I fed this sucker five pounds of prime beef jerky a couple of months ago, he still barks at me every time I come around, hell he even barks like mad at Don's wife and she feeds him too. This dog actually cries if Don leaves without him in that new Ram. But he is a good dawg, My wife and I had to put down our little dog after 16 years. Almost killed me, I thought more of that dog than a lot of people I know. Smoke is a good representitive of this breed. And when we get another dog I think I will get one of these Aussies. Gunny

I think I got ya beat on the quantity.

The Shepard is Sasha. She was found on the side of the road by my wife's former boss. He was going to take her to a shelter. My wife intervened. She was officially adopted Feb. 11th 2000. She the best home protection I've got. She watches anyone who comes near the house

The one next to her is Baby. She is ½Basset Hound, ¼ Border Collie, and ¼ Catahoula. She runs like hell and doesnt listen to anyone. Still a good dog. Loves to play and keeps the others on their toes.

The one in the bottom picture is O'Reilly. We're not sure exactly what breed of dog he is. He seems to have some Mini Pinscher in him but we're not sure what else. He used to belong to my wifes best friend until htey had to move to Massachusetts and could not bring him along. He's still new around here and has adjusted pretty good. His favorite thing is to sit in my lap while I'm trying to type.

They are our kids.

This is My Boy Tucker I can't believe he just turned 9 years old last month:( I thought I missed

my truck!! the poor guy missed two camping trips:mad:

I'm trying to figure out how to segue this into posting a picture of my new gauges (still in the box) that I'm very proud of, but I guess I'm not as creative as I used to be.

I wish I had a picture of Killer to post, but he is no longer with us. He will always be missed.

I'm a lover of the Aussie breeds myself. I've had 2 before, currently have a blue heeler female that I've had since 4 weeks old, and a beautiful shepard male that I've been dog-sitting for 3 years. The female made a 6 hour trip with me within 48 hours of getting her, and she's been a truck ridding dog since. Once when leaving on a business trip I couldn't find her anywhere. Finally went to shut the truck lid on the car, and saw she was in there hiding behind the luggage! She's definately my dog!

Good looking dogs, all of them!!!!!

Don, beauty is in the eye's of the beholder, my dogs may not be the prettiest, but I got y'all beat in the combined weight of 2 dogs . 320 Lbs. of drooling, peolple loving fun, lol. I said it once before, but no matter what you do, your dog will always look like this :D

Hey BigSaint, post some pice of your dogs, i want to see what a BIG dog looks like. Nice dogs the rest of you guys, especially Adam, that dog is beautiful. I am working on pics of my dogs this week.

Doc,

I can really tell you don't like dogs do you? ;) I dislik'em as much as you do, maybe a little more. <sound of nose growing longer by the second>

Adam, that sure is a beautimus puppy dog you have there. Rub him on the belly for me and give him an extra treat or two.

Scott,

You may have the heaviest combined weight for a pair of dogs, and there are many others whose truck has more horsepower than mine, but I bet that I have very little competition in brute Pawpower. 14 tails, 56 paws, and 28 eyeballs looking at me to give the words "Let's go!"

BTW, keep posting threads such as this one. It has really helped keep a smile on my face in light of my loss earlier today.

Thanks tons,

Swampy
