MagnaFlow Exhaust...Any Good??

Substitute oil for K&N air filter?

On the high idle kit what all is included and where does it tie into the factory harness. Are the Idle settings adjustable or are they preset. I need to get one before winter this year and i just want to make sure it compatable with the FASS and the DDUFM in the connections that it makes to the truck. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

I had Gordons High Idler on my 00 and it worked great. Just plugs in to the TPS connectors, and is adjustable. I wish he could get them to work on the 3rd gens. , I would sure have one!

Gordon’s High Idler is made with prefabricated OEM style harnesses and electrical connectors. Everything you need is in the box. :D

This is one of the easiest mods you will ever do. Takes about 20 minutes after reading the instructions. ;)

I have one, I love it and it has worked perfect for several years. It will work with your set up.

The only warning I will give is that it will set a code for the vech speed sensor if you use it for a long time. No big deal as this does not set the engine light and does not effect anything else.

The other hint is always turn it all the way off before driving your truck. I have turned it all the way down, just not off before and there is a noticable loss of power.

1500rpms is to low when its -40f. I need more like 2000 to keep the egts above 275. Wish someone would make one that stepped up the rpms gradually over a few minutes. But I need to get one before this winter. Even though the stick and electric seat worked pretty good.

Cummins Pilot, you need an exhaust brake with the PS high idler. I don't know about in -40*, but in -10* it would keep my 00 at about 400* with ex-brake on and 1200rpm. I know its pretty expensive if you don't need the EB, but it sure works.
