I see the pastor has included the seal numbers in the Borgeson shaft install instructions. IS it recommended (or necessary) to replace them when you install a Borgeson shaft? Mine arrives Wednesday and jsut want to know if I need to order the seals.

I will also be installing new rotors, calipers and carbon metallic disk pads at the same time. Sounds like a nice afternoon project to me! :D

Thanks!

Carl

I haven't decided if I am doing the springs at the same time or not. It sounds like their install requires a little more disassembly of the front end than I am going to have time for this weekend. Might just have to bite the bullet and have the springs installed.

Steering Gear Seal

No, you don't. If it shows leakage, you might wish to take advantage of the accessibility and go for it. Easy as pie/won't take you long. Follow Bob's instructions and order the seal kit shown. Comes with grease, lip seal, dust seal, and new snap ring. Getcha a quart of ps oil to replace what you'll loose when you pop the old out. I lost 1/2 quart or so. Oh,yah. If it's not leaking,,,,,,,,,,,,, stick with plan "A". It sounds like fun. :D
