Is anyone doing anything with the space that was used by the old air filter housing? I just had a piece of 1/4" aluminum cut to fit the area. I mounted it on the original three studs with rubber washers. I then mounted my air compressor (for air horns and an air up system) on the plate along with the SOV and pressure switch. Looks very nice, it's protected, and easy to get to. Just hope the heat will won't be a factor. Just thought I'd share...

I got a heat shield form Jannetty Racing that mounts to the exsisting studs from the airbox. It is basically a wall between the turbo and the air filter. Seems to be pretty effective

Vaman, good idea. Adding a Physcotty and dumping the airbox really frees up a lot of space. I still haven't decided what to fill the space on mine up with yet.

The space in mine will be used to hold the bottle for my water injection system this summer.

Since I have the Jacobs e-brake,I mounted the vacuum solenoid in the old airbox space. Still have room for other things.
