Psychotty Air System

Have any of you with a Psychotty Air System Taken them off because of too much noise? My wife rides with for long trips while towing and don't want to annoy her? Is there any one in the Central North Corolina area that has one that I could ride in to hear the thing?

Noise

Been there done that. It was tolerated with the stock turbo. After the PDR turbo was bolted up it became to loud for my wife and I had to de-bomb my truck slightly by removing the Psychotty

I have had mine on for a year or more. We made a 4850 mile round trip and with my straight pipe it was great. My wife and kids both told me that if they can sleep while I'm driving its not loud. They love the sound as much as I do... .

Is your truck stock or do you have any engine mods like Inj. or box?

So far the engine and pump are stock... so far. But right now I have not done anything execpt click the AFC wheel 20 click toward the engine to get some bottom end. .

I've got the -0880- w/o the cowl hole & it's too loud for me. Also, did you read the post where ears popped in the cab under WOT?

Sounds like good advice I'm going to check out this filter in the next couple of days at NAPA. Good air and Quiet sounds good.
