PTO for NVG 271 ???

Of all the 03 Rams w/ the NVG 271 that I have seen none of them have had a PTO provision. Is it still an option? I know that the NVG 271 is a superior transfer case but shouldn't it offer a PTO option ?

I even looked at a 2002 F-450 4X4 that had a 271 in it and it did not have a PTO provision. Does anyone have any info on this ?

The manual transmissions (NV4500 & NV5600) have PTO provisions.

I realize that the H. D. manuals have two provisions each, but what about the automatic crowd? I wasn't aware that DC offered an auto with a PTO option like the Ford auto does. Besides sometimes it is a better set up to put the PTO drive out back by the transfercase ( more room ). I am wanting to upgrade to the 271 but I would like to keep the PTO option on the transfer case.
