I would like to hook up the pto to a log splitter out the back! Were does one get the pump? Does it mount to the transmission? How do you turn it on and off? thank you Larry

Its been a while since I have fooled with that stuff but on my last rig I had a PTO winch and the PTO is a small housing that bolts on the side of the trans after you remove the side cover and it has a shaft sticking out of it about 2" and you engage it by moving a lever that puts it in gear. I used a cable device to pull the lever sorta like a hand throttle. You could mount the pump to that shaft and run hoses out back with quick disconnects on them. Try Northern Hydraulics for pumps, they have a web page but I dont have the address for it
