OK New Product to add to make better mileage

Vegetable Oil

CD DAY, as people mentioned, this is not beverly hills - at 1030pm what did you expect?

I guess supporting your country, cleaner air, higher cetane and better lubricity isn't 'worth' 15 cents/gal to some...

I filled 20 gals today at lunch as I was in the area... totally safe, busy, kids women and children, lots of ppl filling up. $2. 58

I wish they would open one in the Dayton area. :(

What do you mean about this "mob"? Was there a protest or something? Or is it a high crime area?

On edit: just discovered there's a station 0. 3 miles from my normal refueling station that's carrying B2! It's not much, but it's a start! Oo.

It looks to be a high crime area - - and even at ten thirty at night since I was there I thought I'd stop, however the best laid plans!!!!

As far as the $0. 159 cents a gallon, my truck, an 01 CTD is a work truck that I derive an income from and every penny counts when you make a living with a piece of equipment.

With the current fuel quality I'm only getting 17. 9 mpg, I'll try Bio when I get to Cleveland during the day, and see wether there is an improvement. I can't justify a 100 mile round trip just to get fuel.

CD - there is no way in heck ;) that I'd drive 100 miles out of my way to get this b20 fuel. Simply if you are in the area and need to fill up - it's competitive with most other diesel prices in the area and provides a better product.

It could be considered a high crime area - and is prob not advisable at night. My guess is that the 'mob' around there is the typical element you'll see loitering around any neighborhood like this at night. Probably your average assortment of gangbangers, bums, and crackheads. I have only gone twice at lunchtime, and never for a second questioned my safety. . it's very busy and nobody is loitering. .

It's what it was! To many people hanging out - - but I didn't want to pass up the chance to try it - - I'll get back, just don't know when.

Made it back to Cleveland, 11:30 in the AM today (Tuesday). Put in $96. 00 of Bio - 36. 9 gallons, Nice people run the place. CC maxoutside is $74. 00, but they handled the last $22. inside. We'll see how it runs, and I hope I can get bio the next time I need fuel. I'm probably running about 10% bio/90 dino fuel now. The engine did get noticably quieter, and the exhaust has a funky smell, a little like sour grain but not readily identifiable - - not the popcorn odor I was expecting.

The station had a real good flyer on biodiesel, and I may try to reprint it here tomorrow.

CD good to hear you're 'burnin the bean' now ;) John the owner is a nice guy, I would agree. To be honest, I'm not sure what you were smelling, but typically b20 doesn't really smell like much, aside from when you start it cold, usually just a very muted diesel smell... I never really noticed the fryer oil smell until I got to around b50. B100 smells almost exactly like a drive-thru... in fact if you're waiting in one, it's hard to tell which you're smelling :) Oh well, this was just a few years back, I was buying b100 in 55 gal drums for $1. 40/gal delivered to my house including the drums, for virgin ASTM spec b100. Ahh the good ol days... .
