Has anyone come across a long single bed for '03 up, preferably black? I have looked everywhere around here with no luck. I'm converting from dually and all that is left is the bed.

Thanks

When the fenders are removed it looks like someone took a sawzall to the top of the wheel well of the bed to make room for the fenders. Wish they were though

I know of an Atlantic Blue LWB SRW new take-off in Lancaster, KY. if it helps any. There's also one here on the TDR classifieds in CA if memeory serves me right.

I was up in Weatherford a couple weeks ago and seen a place that had more than 1 take-off bed. I don't remember the name of the street, but it is the 4 lane that runs east-west. Close by the Dodge dealer in town. On the south side of the street. You can't miss them sitting in the lot when you go by.

Yea I stopped by that fella in Weatherford. I have more patience that $ most of the time therefor not wanting to spend +or- $1000 for the bed then another $500 for the paint job. Hoping to find a used black one. Thanks for the info though!

Someone on this forum did a conversion from dully to srw. HE had a body man fix the bed and paint. Posted pics and everthing. It wasn't a biggy to fix the bed. Honest injun. Looked a lot less exspensive then replacing the bed for sure. It was a bright red truck.

That is where I found my red short bed - Paid $2500 - ouch!

I ran a search for TX, and found $1000 to $2000 - alot of white

Keep in mind the beds off the 1500's are the same (thats what mine came from)

Was it Greg Boardman? That is the only red conversion that I found with pics? What really sucks is that I found a black shortie only a few miles from my house for $650, wonder how hard it would be to stretch :D :D
