I have had my truck in 2 times to address this problem. On a totally flat 10 mile strech of the highway, no crown in the road, my truck continues to drift to the right. I traveled 300 miles up I-5 from California to Oregon yesterday and actually got pulled over by the Calif CHP for weaving on the highway. I explained that the truck wants to turn right and I got off with a warning. The dealer has cross rotated the front tires once and also made some "adjustments" in the allignment, but it still pulls to the right. This is really starting to get on my nerves. It also wears outr your arm having to hold so firm on to the wheel constantly to keep the truck in the correct lane. Ive driven on both sides of the road, north and south and in the far left lane as well as the right lane, it still pulls. That throws the crown in the road idea out as the left lane of I-5 is sloped to the left near Redding. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks guys.

PB, many many posts on this subject. Lot's of guys have this problem including me. My dealer is so familiar with it he even has the stupid joke that Dodge designed them this way so you would go to the ditch instead of the oncoming lane if you nod off.

They checked my truck, and pronounced it within spec. Dumb mechanic even said he could not detect the pull to right. Of course he drove it around town at 20 mph. Yes, still pulls to right!!

I had the same problem, changed ball joints, tires, trac bar, steering shock to no avail. I even tried the alignment specs posted on TSR. Dealer told me that steering box was tight. . I ended putting on an AGR steering box and pump. . Fixed! Nice and tight, and I am not tired after driving all day. I used to be totally wore out from fighting to keep the truck in a straight line! Good luck.

Take it to a competent alignment shop, and then take the bill to the dealer. I had that problem with a brand new Dodge car once. The dealer had it aligned five times, and it always pulled to the right afterward. I took it to a friend that aligned it, viola, no more pull!!!

You just have to get someone that knows what they are doing. From what he said, most places wouldn't adjust the back of the car as that's what the manufacturer suggested. He adjusted the back in order to get it running correctly. I know, it's not comparing the same thing, but finding a good mechanic is still a valid point.
