I wanted to let all you guys know about a TRUCK PULL coming up on May 26th & 27th.



It is going to be held in Centerville, TN which is in Hickman County. Hickman County is my hometown and is about 55 miles SW from Nashville. This event is getting bigger and bigger each year and I would love to see the TDR community come and represent. I have been in contact with the guy that is putting this on and he is very excited to see our smoke bellow in the event!



It is both Friday and Saturday night and will be having pay outs both nights. I will be there and I've had several people already commit on being there. I am posting a thread to the website and there is a tab at the top of the page to press for truck pull. Check it out and let me know if you all can bring your big bad trucks out to have some fun!

a kenten pull. mike and i pulled with that group las year. they dont have a prostock diesel class scheduled this year because there was only 2 trucks last year. we really hoped that the class would grow. maybe ya'll will get a good tractor class this year. something blowing smoke is always good

I bet if a lot of interest was shown in it, they would add it for you all. If several trucks show up wanting to do it, I'm sure it would be hard to say no to the money again!



I will probably be there both nights. Not sure if I will hook to it or not. Some friends are putting the heat onto me real hard to hook to it. If I do, it will just be for kicks and giggles... knowing that I won't do what some of you all will do. I guess I'm just skeered of breaking something.

most of ya'll cant meet prostock rules. ie bellhousing blankets kill switches and such. they usually have a street diesel class. which the rules have always been kinda run what you brung

I just got an e-mail from the main guy that gets this thing going in Centerville and this is what he said:



Would love to have ya'll up. They have now two classes for diesels. Stock, and Pro-Street. We will not be running the pro-street class (probably next year), Only stock. The stock class must be street driven, tags and insurance. Single rear and dual's will pull in same class. Gas engins will pull in different class. No Frame alterations, or hitch alterations. RPM's must be within 10% of factory specs. (this will be checked by Tech's) Other than that..... Pull what you brung.





This makes me wonder about 'ol Smokey for this time around. Next year will probably be no problem for her, but not sure about this time around.



I don't really know what night I'll pull yet. I'm actually still trying to talk myself into it. If I do, it will be whenever everyone else will be around.

The stock class must be street driven tags and insurance... CHECK!

Single rear and dual's will pull in same class... . CHECK!

Gas engins will pull in different class. ... Who cares!

No Frame alterations, or hitch alterations. ... Suspension blocks and traction bars? That's not frame alterations, Stock frame completely intact... CHECK!

RPM's must be within 10% of factory specs. (this will be checked by Tech's)... CHECK

Other than that..... Pull what you brung... . CHECK!

Which night would Diesel's be pulling? If its Friday I can't make it because I won't get off in enough time to drive down. If its Saturday ..... maybe..... I can arrage trailer & transport for myself... . see's I got this sponsor... :-laf... this buddy of mine that drives a Powerpuke... . yes yes I know :-laf ... he loves to watch me pull. He's offered to haul me to any dang pull I will compete in this year for FREE!



Somebody clue me in on the day... . and I'll see if I can get away.

joe, my truck isn't a street truck. so i doubt ill haul it up there for an exhibition pass. we will be pulling in michigan city, ms on sun may 28 @ 7pm. they'll have a street stock, pro street and pro stock diesel class there. good track, good sled. ya'll are more than welcome to come down.

They will be pulling the diesels both nights. Come on down Saturday and let the Fluffer Stroker haul you down... we won't frown on you. Besides, that guy feels special hauling a real truck around. Oo.

Yep, now how did that happen? :-laf You didn't bring your party hat over to Joe's when I was there Monday.

BUT that's just too dang close to the Mooretown pull. And I can't risk (any more that I do everyday on the street) FUBAR'ing the truck. MUST show and GO in my own backyard on the 3rd.



Hmmmmm, maybe I need two trucks with pulling inclinations.
