Alrighty Then.

Don't wake up the Moderators--you BLING A DINGS. :p

And don't email me any big files. Up here on the Ridge, I'm connected by two squirrels in the oak tree. Down on the creek I'm connected by two pigeons under the bridge. :{

Satellite someday... but that's about the ONLY drawback to living out here in the bush.

Oh crap, now Gap is going to make something silly out of that. ;)

Ok so did the almighty Squaretire break the pulling hitches or the actual reciever hitches?

If it was recievers I'm glad I stayed home! :--)

Wade

One store bought $200 adjustable hitch on his truck. Ripped the 2" square stock in half! and then snapped his pinion shaft, or the other way around.

Ol smokey, busted the welds loose. We've pulled on the hitch the night before, with several trucks. A truck even pulled with it the pull before us. Oh well, luck of the draw. Get'm next time.

Got another TC coming from Dave, a little looser... We'll see what happens. Supposed to be here Friday. If we get done, we'll be, well, Joe will be in Atwood, TN this weekend. I've gotta go to my in-laws in St. Louis. Gotta pump the plate up alittle more. Notice she cleared up! :) Turbo working!

I'm skeert now. But I'd rather break a hitch than a transmission. Solid 2"--that should not break. Who wound up with Meacham's old hitch?

I think you'll be mucho happier with the new TC.

Wildblue. Yep, I'll check into it. Larry--Heartoftn.net has a sat setup, but it wouldn't work on my machines--even with fresh OS installs. ?

I heard there some tweaking under the hood at Cory place :D

Also heard Jason Warden/Green Ford popped a head gasket squirting water/meth saturday night at the switch.

They need to change that class to "run what ya brung" cause there is some craziness that goes on. I'm gonna mount my hitch next year on the roof! There ain't no such thing as rules

That looks like the hitch Meacham had.

Rules--we don't need no stinkin rules! :-laf

Yeah, I heard the Chubby truck weighed 10k+ and had a hitch up about armpit level.

Don't matter how high your hitch is if'n it breaks. :p

Rules I like: X hitch height--I think it's usually around 26, 8500# max weight, no pressurized auxillary fuel. Street legal with current tags and insurance.

Hook it.

Warden knew it was going to pop, so that's why the water meth was turned open on it. The dealership actually left bolts loose so that it would go ahead and finish it off. It has been at the dealership having the heads reworked, injectors put in, and placing head studs in it. Should be ready today. I hate to say it, but that dang Ford will run and I can't imagine what it's going to feel like now!

As far as tweakage going on at the "Bling-a-ling Camp"... . SSSSHHHHH!!!! :-laf Let's just say, when someone tells you that things are a direct bolt on... walk away! Things should be put back together tonight hopefully and back on the road. She should be breathing A LOT better now.

Clevis Cleatus, roger Roger.

Twisted Clevis is preferred. Allows sled hook to drop straight down, not sidewise.

A nice big clevis will fit that one--2 or 2. 5" pin--Gutenstout! (german engineering term)
